Would Like Helpful Opinion The The Following Laptops

I think those four options will be very different prices, but all of them will do what you want to do. I would go with option 2 or 3 though. Probably option 2 if it's cheaper. You don't mention ram though. Do they all have at least 16gb of upgradeable ram?
#3 for sure, that 6gb video ram makes a big difference, and that Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 155H should be very quick.
Quick powerful versatile computer about to do many things.

You're right about ram and making sure upgradable

Ok, so you are a #3, thank you. Yup all are upgradable laptops, you've all taught me to check for that and to be aware of soldered ram too. So I've got 1 #2 and 1 #3

If I was going to retire my older desktop and replace it with a laptop, I would go with option #3.

Do you also think the graphics on #3 is the better of the 4 ?

I don't remember you mentioned about gaming for your purpose but you did mention photo and maybe video editing where CPU plays a more important role than a GPU. Don't worry about the GPU.

Agree. Any Core i7 or Ultra 7 processor will do the job very well. I do video editing and photoshop with a Core i5 processor and integrated graphics and have no issues. Enough ram helps with that too (I have 16gb). So it then just comes down to picking the one you like and meets your budget best.

Got it, thanks. On #3 with the RTX 4050 GPU, the RTX4060 which i thought was supposed to be newer and possibly better the 4060 is $100.00 less. I wonder why none of the other configuration options change when I select that. I'm guessing I should switch from the RT 4050 to the 60????

I went through 3 or 4, all of them Lenovo, all of them 15". Still have the P15 as a spare. I liked them because they were easy to take apart - you will likely need to clean the dust off your CPU cooler at some point, or perhaps even re-do the thermal paste. I have had, but wouldn't recommend less than a i7. They can easily overheat so no good for modern or old-video-intensive games. I had them during my gotta-be-able-to-grab-everything-in-a-flash-and-leave phase. Not there any more. Also, even with a usb3.2 super fast port, SSK case with a 990Pro don't go anywhere near what they could if plugged to the mobo. Make sure you get one with m.2 which is 4 x(gen4x4) - most are 2x which is half the speed. Gotta dig to find those specs. Good luck with whatever you get!
