Nope. The Acronis as we know it stops with TI2021. As long as you can get your hands on a licence you will run a perpetual licence.

I'm having a hard time absorbing this...

While I can't speak on ATI 2021, I can speak on ATI 2018 and since buying the program 4 years ago, it has never ever taken anywhere near 12 hours to do any backup. I can do full disk backup with 600gig of files and it wouldn't take longer than maybe an hour.

I did a full backup of my user profile, 26gig, on Windows 11 and it took 2 and a half minutes....



That was from my Samsung 970 Pro NVMe (PCIe 3.0) drive to my Samsung SSD 860 EVO drive.

Sorry, but I have to ask what you were backing up and what drives were in use that resulted in a 12-hour backup?

Well, that's what I said. I also stated you had to find it from a third-party vendor.

Ahh man, in all my years of typing in forums I always think that the written word lacks emotion or detail (mind you, I'm talking about me). I just wanted to clear up for those who think that newer versions of Acronis backup after TI 2021 will only be offered in subscription form.

That's why I said that I will not be using Acronis anymore because of the Cyber crap and the subscription form. I should have probably said that after TI2021 if I need a new backup software it won't be Acronis because new versions will not be perpetual.

TI2021 is perpetual (if you want). Works fine with Windows 10 & 11. The only issue is that you might need to use Winpe to recover instead of the Windows GUI in Acronis.

I hope I got it right. Must be the age catching up to me

Thanks for that link. I trawled around its entries and added a bit more to my TenForums ditty - File backup vs imaging, imaging utilities, backing up drivers [#3] - TenForums

I'm using Seagate DiscWizard v24 [Build 28500] with my Windows 10 & Windows 11 computers.
- I believe that it is based on Acronis TI 2020. [To avoid further confusion:- Of the many versions of Acronis TI that this Acronis TI variant might be based on, I believe that it is based on Acronis TI 2020.]
- I always boot from the DiscWizard USB to restore images. With Windows 11, I have made system images but haven't had to do a restore yet.

Must be. I tried to install Seagate DiscWizard v24 but it said I would have to uninstall Acronis True Image first.

It was the version number that was new information [I've been exchanging messages about DiscWizard with Zardoc for much of this thread].
There has been no doubt that it is a variant of Acronis TI.

At the moment, I'm still working across both OSes & both forums so I'm referencing articles on either one. I think I'll just let it ride for the time being but I do take your point and will add a note about always checking in TenForums as well to my 'standard' welcome ditty I post to any new members in threads I'm involved with.
