I'm not sure what you mean "What options to view results?" I made a TOC in the Google doc of all the tests, and pasted the query result in reverse order below it, most recent at the top. So far we're on #9.

Please restart WDV with all customized tests except:

[ ] 0x00000004 Randomized low resources simulation.

If there is no immediate BSOD then open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

verifier /querysettings

Post a share link.

Run for 24 hours.

If there are no BSOD then that will complete WDV testing.

The various options worked where all of the latest runs were downloaded and viewed.

After 24 hours of testing if there are no BSOD then post a new V2 before turning off the tool.

Then reinstall Aoemi software.

If there are no BSOD after 24 hours then that will complete the troubleshooting.

There was a BSOD when I ran that:

BSOD: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Driver failure: ndis.sys
After the BSOD I restarted and was able to boot into Windows.

I thought I may have accidentally checked ndis.sys in the driver list so I ran this test again.

When I ran the same test there was no BSOD, and then I saw that one of the tests was of ndis.sys. Anyway, click here for the query result of the same test run the second time.

I will let this run for 24 hours. Hopefully it's fixed.

Thanks a TON for your patience and time through all this. I don't know how you guys do it.

There are times in which Windows may fail to generate dump files.

Also there is a significant CPU load.

Run for 24 hours as you're doing.

When I got up this morning there was the BSOD burning in my OLED.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Failed driver: dlcdcncm660.sys (associated with DisplayLink, which my Plugable USB 3.0 dock uses)

Here's the V2 file.

1) Uninstall and reinstall:

dlcdcncm dlcdcncm c:\windows\system32\drivers\dlcdcncm660.sys

2) Create a new restore point

3) Restart WDV > run for approximately 24 hours

I R&R DisplayLink drivers.

I wasn't sure how you wanted me to run WDV so I am running it in the most recent configuration you suggested, all tests except
[ ] 0x00000004 Randomized low resources simulation.

Rebooted. So far so good.

I'll check in tomorrow (hopefully without issues!).

Came back to my computer after a few hours to a black screen, it would not wake from what looked like "sleep." I did a hard restart. Windows started normally, but after working for a few minutes, trying to save a file directories would not open (hang) and icons were blank (white).

I rebooted and got BSOD: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.
What failed: ndis.sys

Rebooted, Windows started normally.

The smartphone does not have the software to view many of the collected files.

The last collected mini dump file was

and the misbehaving driver was

dlcdcncm660.sys

was replaced with

Driver C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\DLCDCNCM660.SYS (3.81.0.0, 148.27 KB (151,832 bytes), 5/29/2024 9:13 AM)

Please post a new querysettings.

So far so good.

Aim for approximately 24 hours without a BSOD.

The link that was just viewed (post #53) displayed all tests except [ ] 0x00000004 Randomized low resources simulation.

whereas post #21 had approximately half of the tests.

If #21 tests are running now then there are additional tests.

If #53 tests are running then that may complete approximately 24 hours of testing.

Hmm, I see. I wonder if previous tests are not getting cleared when I run WDV subsequent times. Am I supposed to clear them each time? When I do verifier /reset nothing happens, I have to do verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail, but I've only done that when I can't recover from a BSOD. I assumed running WDV would only run the selected tests.
