I'm running a portable from PortableApps.com, and it has updated from 116 to two versions of 117 so far, but maybe it's an artefact of the (otherwise fine) portable.
LATER: Confirmed. I just installed 117.0b3, configured it, and copied the essentials from the portable install profile to the "installed install" profile, and tested the archived list in Local Folders. NO PROBLEM. I'm not sure I know how to approach the guy who does the portables with the suggestion that maybe, just maybe, there's a glitch in the portable that's not present in the installed versions. I'll think on't.
Oh, and Edwin, FYI, I now have portable 102.14, portable 117.0b3,
and installed 117.0b3 running on my little old test desktop.
I can even run the installed and either of the portables simultaneously, so long as I launch the portable before I launch the installed. The portables have a thing about being the only TB running.

three TB icons on my taskbar now, each with its own distinctive toolbar tip name.
