I tried "BruceR" s method - I opened the TM went to Details tab in Task Manager - Looked for the: MicrosoftEdgeUpdate.exe process. The Task Mgr. in the Details tab does not even exist? Edge is a browser I never use. I'm stuck ??? regards PS: there's No MicrosoftEdgeUpdate.exe in the Task Mgr in Details. ?

Makes one wonder if they are only allowing some people to go past 117.0.1991.0 or not so if some code is very seriously broken, it won't effect all the Canary users.

The updated is a Dell running Beta and the 'stuck' is indeed an Asus running Dev.
Edge Canary on my Mac has updated to 2002.
I use Canary as my default browser on the Windows machines and Safari on the Mac

VMWares which are on both Beta & Canary builds are stuck there as well.
Not so surprising since they are on an Asus , virtualized maybe, but not all hardware/firmware gets shifted.
My other system is also on an Asus.
Asus released a firmware update right before the weekend which allowed me to install the latest Canary build on it via MS ISO. (25905)
I have no idea if the two issues -problem build & un-updated browser- are just a coincidence or not.
