Typically (my experience) if an item gets delayed, I'll get an email alerting me of a potential issue and stating that if the item isn't received by xyz date, it'll be cancelled, and I'll be refunded. Have seen that a few times over the long period I've been an Amazon customer and Prime member.

Okay, I really don't know what is up with Amazon. I left work early today to avoid the late afternoon traffic due to the current weather. And this one was waiting for me in the mailbox. It actually arrived.
I got a free Elgato Wave 1 mic. 🤣

I just thought you still want to replace the bulky yeti.

I used the Wave 1 as plug and play (no driver installed). So far the only difference I noticed is that the Wave 1 gain is lower. But maybe I had to configure it first. It picks up a little bit more of ambient noises but I guess that can be fixed with the Wave Link software. Nothing really bad so far but what I really like about it is that it is not very intimidating sitting right in front of me. It looks like it is listening to me unlike the Yeti that seems like it is looking down at me telling me to speak up. 🤣

I've had that happen 3 or 4 times, where an item I ordered does not show up, and I get a replacement sent, then the original shows up much later.

Every single time I've been told "just keep it." Lol.

It's not only Amazon.
My old Kanto YU5 speaker system suddenly stopped working 4 years ago. I sent an email to Kanto for warranty claim. Unfortunately at the time, Kanto YU5 was already discontinued. So they sent me an upgrade. After a few days, I received a brand new Kanto YU6 system. Sweet!
But a week after, it was even sweeter, I received a second Kanto YU6 system. Since it is heavy and bulky, I didn't even bother think of returning it. I just kept for a month waiting for Kanto to ask for it back. But I didn't hear anything from them. After about 2 months, I sold it to a friend. 😅
