I have the delivery agent message on an order I'm supposed to receive today. The Logan location is the Amazon warehouse. I'm guessing that the Swedeboro location is the Post Office. I'm curious if the USPS service will deliver it or if they handed it over to another carrier.

Since hanging out at Steve Hoffman forums in this thread, I've been buying a lot of jazz lately, mostly older stuff. Anyway, this arrives tomorrow - Crusaders Rhapsody in Blues (1980) (Japanese SHM version - audiophile edition). I'd already had this album on vinyl but wanted it on CD.

Got the new from Barns & Noble yesterday for a total of $13.84 bucks - (7.99 + 4.99 + taxes). Miles Davis Seven Steps to Heaven (1963) and Charles Mingus Ah Um (1959)...

I already have a lot of Miles Davis, but he has tons of material out there. The Charles Mingus Ah Um is said to be his signature release. After hearing both these zero regrets in getting as both at pretty good :-)

I do like and buy contemporary music, but I've always been fond of the 70s and thus I'm always looking to that era or earlier.

That said, I'm also always looking out for new stuff, whether through radio, Spotify, movies, or seeing something online. I just like music so it doesn't matter what type or whether it's old or newly released.

All that said, right now I'm on this hard bop / jazz kick so that's what I've been getting lately. Later it might be EDM, rock, or R&B. I go through phases like that :-)

Well, I can say there are some real snobs in the Jazz forum, what I call the jazz purity police - what you listen to isn't "real jazz", but what I post is real. But you've been around forums, so you know how that goes.

That said, like here, they're heavy on keeping the peace so a post will get deleted without notice if things get out of line.

The one thing I don't like there is you need to have a place to host images posted there, which I find stupid in this day and age, but...

Mine did not come at all till now. Well, I am not expecting it to show up anymore. I was just so bummed how easy it was to get my money back without repeating myself. Makes me think that the product is not in stock in the first place and they (Amazon) just manipulated the system so they can't be blamed for the problem? The product was sold and shipped by Amazon.

At the beginning of the Pandemic I placed an order with Amazon that started from a warehouse less than 20 minutes from me. According to the tracking it was in transit to my house. Then for some reason, it went to package is delayed. A week later it was still listed as being delayed. I finally got tired wating and canceled it. If Amazon had kept me up to date on what was going on I may have waited longer for it.
