@zbook I finally went down the replacement game road. First thing I changed was, by gut feeling based on the observed behaviour (even having troubles to start into a bootable USB and such funny things), the CPU. I have it running now for a few weeks with a new one (same type) without any issue. Looks like it was the problem. I also notice, that the new one runs on significant lower temperatures. While testing, It didn't went up to the full 100° any more.
@jrolson: JFYI ... I think that CPU was defective from the very beginning, despite the fact that every test was passed. So unfortunately nothing is granted :/ ...
