YES YES YES! My dearly beloved and greatly missed native Finland plays tomorrow in Gold Medal Game! Semifinal against USA ended a few minutes ago, Finland 4 - USA 3.
Second semifinal Canada vs. Czech Republic later today, at 17:20 CEST, 16:20 BST, 11:20 AM EST, 8:20 AM PST. Bronze medal game tomorrow Sunday at 14:20 CEST, 13:20 BST, 8:20 AM EST, 5:20 AM PST.
Gold medal game tomorrow Sunday at 19:20 CEST, 18:20 BST, 1:20 PM EST, 10:20 AM PST.
To watch the games live in YouTube, you must change your geolocation to a country where no broadcaster has bought the rights to show the tournament. For instance, I could switch my geolocation to Spain, a country which is not broadcasting the tournament:
When game then starts, I can go to official tournament page, where (scrolling down a bit), I can see the ongoing game being Live:
Hovering mouse over the game, I can then select Live Stream, and watch the game live, in full HD, with excellent English commentators:
I can't help it, I am always predicting the outcome. Have always done it, and been usually wrong
I think, that the final will be quite even, with not many goals. Finland meets Canada in World Championships today in gold medal game third time in a row. In 2019, Finland took gold, Canada silver. In 2020 tournament was cancelled due pandemic, in 2021 Canada took gold, Finland silver.
Today, I think two excellent goalkeepers will be in key role. I predict Finland 2 - Canada 1.
In bronze game, Czechs will take bronze medals, Czech Republic 4 - USA 2.
My only concern now is, if I will watch the final live with either English or German commentary, or with delay to watch it with my dear native Finnish commentary.
In my Finnish IPTV subscription, I can only watch anything a few minutes after the program, be it news, a show, movie or a game like now, has ended. Luckily, the channel showing the final will show each period as its own program:
I think I will wait to get Finnish commentary. It means, I can start watching the first period just after 9 PM Finnish, 8 PM my German time, when actually the second period starts.
