I'm so sorry to hear your sad news Mike, just think about all the good times you had together, he had a good life by the sounds of it and lived to grand old age. :)

I lost my oldest cat earlier this year, we got him from a rescue place when he was 20 weeks old and he was 18½ when he went. Losing any pet is like losing a member of the family. :crys:

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's always hard to lose a family member. We lost our dog Whitey back at the beginning of the pandemic. The animal hospital did let me come in and hold him when they gave him the needle. I have his ashes located so when I'm at the desktop he is watching me.

Sorry to hear about Snoopy's passing Mike, he was a beautiful dog, This is the only negative for having a dog - outliving them (oh and shedding). I have a dog I love, Sally, with a similar disposition. Everybody loves her and she loves everybody and every creature. Not a good watchdog (you know what I mean). I will be very sad when she goes, but she is young now. I can just hope she has as long of a life. RIP and hold onto the memories.
