woops, I ran it on the wrong computer. stand by
Ran it on the right computer with nothing unusual and nothing hidden. I don't see specifically these items: "blocked/hidden updates". maybe the Hidden Updates now includes both in this latest version.

Then nothing is hidden. I did some reading after reading your post earlier though and many have had the optional 24H2 update show and then disappear when ignored. Some have stated it came back, some haven’t. If it’s not hidden but the pc is compatible, it should show again eventually. That’s all I can say..

I would advise anyone who had the upgrade pulled to not force 24h2. Here is a quote from Microsoft. dated 12/24/24

To safeguard your update experience, we have applied a compatibility hold on devices that have enabled Auto HDR. These devices will not be offered to install Windows 11, version 24H2 via the Windows Update release channel. IT administrators using Windows Update for Business reports can check this issue using its safeguard ID: 55382406.

Important: We recommend that you do not attempt to manually update to version 24H2 using the Windows 11 Installation Assistant or the media creation tool until this issue has been resolved.

Workaround: You can prevent this issue by turning off Auto HDR on your device. Detailed steps are listed below:

Open the Start menu and go to Settings.
Navigate to System > Display.
Scroll down and select Graphics.
To turn off Auto HDR for all games, use the Default Settings control.
To turn off Auto HDR for individual games, select Custom settings for applications and choose the specific game.
Next Steps: We are working on a resolution and will provide more information when it is available.

Microsoft confirms Windows 11 KB5044284 / KB5046617 can't install new updates

Issues might occur with media which installs the October or November update

When using media to install Windows 11, version 24H2, the device might remain in a state where it cannot accept further Windows security updates. This occurs only when the media is created to include the October 2024, or November 2024, security updates as part of the installation (these updates were released between October 8, 2024 and November 12, 2024).

Please note, this only occurs when utilizing media - such as CD and USB flash drives - to install Windows 11, version 24H2. This issue does not occur for devices where the October 2024 security update or the November 2024 security updates are installed via Windows Update or the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

Workaround: To prevent issues, do not install Windows 11, version 24H2 which installs the October 2024 or November 2024 security updates. Instead, ensure that media used to install Windows 11, version 24H2, includes the December 2024 monthly security update (released December 10, 2024), or later.

Next steps: We are working on a resolution and will provide more information when it is available.

Affected platforms:

Client: Windows 11, version 24H2
Server: None

As of this morning (Christmas morning) it's showing this morning. Was it a miracle?

Merry for Christmas
