Am I the only person on this Forum who likes Classical Music !!!!
Even in London you can get tickets for Royal Opera House at around £30 /€ 35 -- compared with a visit to an earbreakingly deaf making noise at rainy mudden Glastonbury full of all sorts of dubious characters, dreadful facilities etc where tickets are minimal £350/ €375
OK I think some of those youngsters who like "sounds" that make even a JCB sound pleasant by comparison and who by their 40's will be sufferring all sorts of hearing complaints should look back to some of the pre-70's popular music whne songwriters knew their lyrics, musicians couls actually play instruments and people hummed populer tunes for years afterwards. I can't think of any modern "Nightclub / Dance" music that will be even remotely memorable in a few years time. Anybody can knock up "modern dance music" on computers with any sort of A.I these days. Zero musical skill required other than just knowlege of the software.
Cheers
