Besides that, that word Recommended makes me nervous! I have a reasonable suspicion othersh,stuff is gonna appear there in the not too distant future!!!
I ignore the heading and just use the section below for most recently used files. This saves from opening the app and searching for recently opened, of using Explorer to navigate to the file.I understand that, but, honestly..., does one need to be reminded of that?

That's why I value QTTabBar's Desktop Menu so much!
I take that back. It seems it is my netbook won't display the colours (clearly the graphics aren't up to it hence everything stays grey). On the HP laptop, themes change the taskbar colours and start screen colours, even in light theme. So I've got it looking nice. And the apps pinned on the start menu and task bar and it's quite smooth and quick to use that way. But - it still feels like "so that's ok but where's the start menu"?! The start menu isn't actually a start menu. It's a kind of box with some apps pinned to it - like another desktop with shortcuts on. That's what I find frustrating. Part of productivity is being able to see a lot of things instantly at the same time.

Not present if you do a clean install, but there is still Xbox and Xbox Game bar.
The day when they release a new OS that it doesn't happen with, that'll be the day when people should start to get worried.
My 80 year old Mother was addicted to Candy Crush - lol. Another reason I always removed it
I don't think it even needs removing - I just unpinned it from start menu and left it in the apps list.
I can't, on RTM..., keeps saying Files are in use somewhere.
Finally got colours sorted on the netbook. Themes don't change the taskbar and menu colour on this machine. But setting it to custom, then dark for windows default mode and light for default app mode - then turning on "show accent colour on start and task bar" - THEN selecting a colour! That isn't black. So I now have colour on the task bar and menu. The right click menu menu is now dark which is better than grey
