Solved Why can't I get rid of xbox stuff?
I deleted all of the xbox stuff and when the computer reboots it all comes back. I followed a tutoral to change the registry to not install any new windows apps and it did not help. Why does Microsoft think I need xbox apps when I do not use them. I am on 23H2-22631.2506. Before I upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11 they did not reapear.

I removed it all with Revo. Then started getting nagged every time I opened GTAV that such & such was available in the MS store. So I just reinstalled it all to shut microsoft the hell up.

Use REVO and do the "scan for left overs".

I downloaded Revo pro trial and scaned for windows apps and it found 1 for xbox. I scaned with iobit and it found 5 xbox apps. After reboots I deleted them with both softwares and they did not reappear as of now. I have 30 days to learn Revo and I will see which one I like best. I have read on here that a lot of people don't like iobit but I have never had any trouble with it. I scaned for junk files using revo and it found a lot of them. Is it safe to delete them with it?

You don't need REVO Pro. REVO free works just fine.
Just look on the Windows Apps tab. find one you don't want... highlight it can click the Uninstall button up top.
After it uninstalls the item, it will offer to "scan for leftovers".
Click scan and then delete whatever it finds.
The pic in post #6 shows the Windows Apps that I removed, in October 2021.
They haven't come back yet.
Download Revo Uninstaller Free helps you to uninstall software and remove unwanted programs easily. Remove all uninstall leftovers and traces

not to worry.. i'll be here all night folks
. i kid. but def always use revo. best one i've found yet as far as uninstallers. if you use the highest/most aggressive scan for reg keys after uninstall, be sure to double check them though. if you have 2 apps (like adobe reader and adobe acrobat) installed with similar hives, i have seen it get confused before and pull keys to one i didnt want deleted.

"After" you click the Uninstall tab, and REVO uninstalls the app or program... it offers to "scan for leftovers".
Then, you should see three choices... choices like: weak, medium, aggressive... or the like.
I just leave it on the default setting (medium I believe).
When you click the Uninstall tab... this is what pops up... the "choices" are for the "scan for leftovers" tool...
After you click "Yes" to uninstall... the scanning options choices will still be there.
Then just click the "Scan" button (lower right).

Gotcha, I thought perhaps there was a setting in Options that I couldn't find.
Naw... that would make too much sense.

Speaking of settings, I personally set these these to make it a quicker process:
Options > Uninstaller:
Check - “Check mark all leftovers by default”
Uncheck - “Delete leftover files and folders to Recycle Bin”
*Uncheck - “Make a system restore point before uninstall” - Only do this if you are sure.

I don't UNcheck the Recycle Bin setting.
I've never seen it happen, but in case the "leftover delete", breaks something else...
I'd rather have the leftovers IN the Recycle Bin. Then if needed, I can just restore them.
I also use backup software religiously, so having the deletes in the Recycle Bin is just extra safety.
The other two settings, I have set the same as you do.
