I just miss the total customization ability of the Start Menu that evolved in W10 (to flog the dead horse).
I'm not really interested in a 3rd party solution for Start, especially since I don't want to go back to pre-10 start either. I really like most everything in 11, but the start menu, for those who like organizing their start menu is disappointing. Categorization is/was a huge plus . Seems most have their way of doing things and that's fine and some don't like certain changes and that's fine as well. I suffered through a lot of network printer and pc communication issues in 10 that I never had in 7, so they all gots their flaws...
It's not a character flaw, it's just a preference. It doesn't require approval or disapproval.
The Recommended section is a waste, IMHO. And, for as much as it has been complained about, feedbacked about (with the obligatory generic "we're looking into it" response) and written about in one article after another, it is fairly obvious it is here to stay. ANY customization would help
So I will continue to Multi-boot 10 and 11, get used to the changes and try to devise a new way for me to personally navigate my programs, er, um apps in the most comfortable way I can. And then when Windows 12, the best windows yet comes along, I'll do it again
