I know you said you don’t want to reinstall Windows, but sadly, sometimes we just have to.

I can't and don't want to do a clean install because I started playing around with streaming and I have a lot of applications and configurations related to audio and video that I wouldn't want to start from scratch because it took me a lot of hours to perfect it the way I wanted.

Proper notes should be taken when tweaking anything in Windows. This makes reinstalling much easier.
Also, once you have your system setup the way you want to, it’s a good point to make a backup of that exact configuration.

One more thing, one shouldn’t tweak anything unless they know what they’re doing.

I didn't know I had such a problem when I was at the setup stage, I had already set everything I needed on this version of the system and that's why it hurts me so much when I think that I have to do a fresh install.

But I found such a program - EaseUS Todo PCTrans

Do you think that if I buy a license I will be able to transfer most of the applications while maintaining their settings with this application??

Has anyone of you dealt with this? The software advertises that it can transfer programs with their settings 1:1 to another system. Of course I would buy a license.

I feel your pain. I use to enjoy reinstalling. Now I just find it a pain in the butt.

Do the programs you tweaked have a settings backup method?

I think I already offered a link for you to find your license keys in the event that you had to reinstall your apps. Here it is again: Belarc Advisor - Belarc, Inc. Just run the app before you make any drastic changes. Yes, cloning your drive would be an idea to be on the safe side too. There are a lot of programs out there that can do that for you. I'm not familiar with EaseUS myself but I know many people have had positive results using it. I rather doubt you'll be able to fix your problem with it without a license. I'm a MiniTool fan, myself.

License keys are a bit of a problem. I used Belarc, but it's more about program settings, audio settings, streaming settings, game modifications for streaming and many, many more.

If I don't find a temporary solution, I'll have to buy a second drive and make a 1:1 clone of the entire drive with partition C. Then I'll try this TODO Trans PC

I know Micro$oft is what it is. But the number of problems is incredible. I've always been able to solve most of them, but this one was beyond me.

    …still on a horse.

Drives are relatively inexpensive and it's advisable to have a clone on hand anyway IMO. It's standard procedure here, on the home front. Backups are great to have but what does one do when the backup fails? That happens far too often to my liking — especially for those who like to tweak. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and go through all those settings on each app all over again. Keep us posted! :)

Thank you zbook for your dedication. I am very grateful to everyone who tries to help me.

What do I do now??

ESET Uninstall Tool says there are no ESET products on my computer.

ReVo Uninstaller also does not see anything with ESET.

I don't know if I can read these logs correctly, but in this one it says to "try to repair BDC" ??
