Are you happy with Windows 11

Years ago I was included in a class action law suite about a $50.00 rebate for a Zip drive I purchased. When it was all said and done I got a coupon for a discount on any purchase of one of their products. Needless to say, I tossed it in the trash.

Zip drive.... now that's some memory I haven't accessed in a long time. I guess it filled a gap between the floppy and the rewritable cd. It was the 8-track cassette of the computer world lol. I wouldn't have used the coupon either. :-)

I own too many laptops: A Dell touch screen with Windows 11 and 6 others (not counting the other four laptops I bought for this household.) Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.

I watched a video about that guy the other day. He wanted to recruit a successful German filmmaker to help him make propaganda, presumably giving him high office and power, but the filmmaker told Goebbels his grandmother is Jewish. Goebbels replied "I decide who is Jewish." The filmmaker fled to the US.

Hardly anything scarier than someone who could change the rules in the middle of the game.

Even if I had nothing to hide, I still wouldn't want to publicize everything for fear one day the rules will change.

Yep, the classless inaction suit only serves to prevent the ones with standing from recompense while lavishly rewarding rewarding the pencil-pushers and mostly allowing the offenders off the hook.

We need a class action suit against class action suits lol

I have two Zip drives, one is mounded in a retro computer and the other one is a spare drive on the shelf :-)
The fun floppy drives 😀 i still remember the sound as it was yesterday.. that and classic phone modems The sounds you never forget
I still have one of my drives. It's a internal drive and if I remember right it used the SCSI interface. The other one was a external drive. I knocked it of the table while it was running. If I'm remembering right it started making a clicking sound similar to the HDD click of death and stopped working.

You were doing it wrong. All you needed was a penny and spit. To do it you just had to keep spitting on a penny and inserting it. It would eventually accept the penny as either a dime or Quarter. I forget which one. I did it several times when I was a kid. Another trick I use to do was make a collect call from Ian Ready when I wanted my dad or mom to come pick me up.
