Sure, but only if you updated. It’s not going to say Release 3 if you’ve updated to 5.2. 5.2 of which Hasleo didn’t notify of in app regardless that it is ticked to always check for updates. Which seems counter productive.

Pretty certain there were other updates after v5 release 3? Or did it jump from Release 3 straight to v5.2?

I am rather surprised it is a separate program.

Of course, you can clone by making an image backup then restoring to blank drive. Many prefer to clone this way anyway.

Cloning requires only 2 disks, source and target, backup one more.

The cloning option contained in the Backup Suite is exactly the same as the standalone FREE version of Hasleo Disk Clone.

I have used it and it works fine... although offering the same issues as other cloning software when both the source and target disk are left in the machine after cloning. And no, it won't clone an OS disk to a UFD, they have another app for that.

er - yes of course.
Bear in mind many people clone to use spare drive as a backup, without realising they can use image backups.

If host drive is large enough, you can backup temporarily to a partition on host drive, only needing two physical drives.

I don't need three disks to a backup. I don't even need two. I sometimes backup onto a partition on the end disk my laptop has. For safety, I normally backup to a USB HDD or USB SSD.
