Insider KB5053656 Windows 11 Insider Release Preview build 26100.3624 (24H2) - March 24

UPDATE 3/27:

 Windows Blogs:

Hello Windows Insiders, today we’re releasing Windows 11 Build 26100.3624 (KB5053656) to Insiders in the Release Preview Channel on Windows 11, version 24H2 (Build 26100).

This update includes all of the same improvements and fixes from Build 26100.3613 plus the additional features gradually rolling out for Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs.

Gradual rollout

The following features and improvements might not be available to all users because they will roll out gradually. Text bolded in brackets indicate the area of the change being documented.

[Improved Windows Search]
  • New! Finding your documents, photos, and settings across Windows 11 is easier on Copilot+ PCs with improved Windows Search, powered by semantic indexing models along with traditional lexical indexing. Whether it’s searching in File Explorer, in the Windows Search on your taskbar, or in Settings – just type what’s on your mind to find it on your Copilot+ PC. You no longer need to remember file names, exact words in file content, or settings names. Searching for settings like “change my theme” will work within the Settings app for now. Thanks to the power of the 40+ TOPS NPU onboard Copilot+ PCs, these search improvements work even when you’re not connected to the internet. For more info, see semantic search on Copilot+ PCs. Available on Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs, with support for AMD and Intel-powered Copilot+ PCs coming soon.
  • New! Locating your photos stored and saved in the cloud is getting simpler on Copilot+ PCs You can use your own words in the search box at the top right corner of File Explorer like “summer picnics”. In addition to photos stored locally on your Copilot+ PC, photos from the cloud will now show up in the search results together. Exact matches for your keywords within the text of your cloud files will also show in the search results. You can try this experience out today with your personal OneDrive when signed in with your Microsoft account and connected to the internet. To learn more, see semantic search on Copilot+ PCs. Available on Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs, with support for AMD and Intel-powered Copilot+ PCs coming soon.

Thanks,
Windows Insider Program Team

Now. It has been fixed for me. You can have VM virtual machine, I used VM virtual machine to check CFR activation status and manually activate the fixes, then update Windows in the real system and apply the CFR registry. I can also get early access to unreleased features on the GAC channel.
I don' use VM.
Where can I find a list of all the CFRs for a specific Build and an explanation of what they are?

It's not rolled out to everyone. Bro. Microsoft uses CFRs to control feature activation states. You can activate these IDs manually. Just like you use vivetool tool.
Here it is, finally. 😉👍
I hate the inconsistency of these rollouts; one machine gets it the other does not. They are just creating confusion. That is not the way to test things. 🤬

that's great!

I always save these CFR keys, it still takes a while for them to be merged and out of CFR control. If you know enough about CFR you can easily switch it on and off.

I have a miniPC that only works offline, so KB cumulative updates using DISM offline updates will not receive Microsoft's CFR controls. So I need to get these keys from other computers with network access to activate CFR status.

Again this new cumulative update makes my login screen freeze and after i login the inner circle is rolling for ever.,
Uninstall this update makes all works normal again.
It is 2nd cumulative update that has same fail, when you updgrade to this or the before one, wehn you logtin the pc gets infinite loop on login screen and you can not use the pc. Uninstall makes the pc come hback to normal.
Please fix this ASAP!!!

Found a solution better, seems to be the windows Hello Pin has some issues wuth this updates, so i changed the login to password, deactivate Windows Hello, installed the update, all workking fine. Then i change again to activate Windows Hello Pin, as login, and all works fine.
So the problem seems to be in the Windows Hello Pin, when you update the latest Cumulative update Insider.
That is what i did, with this method and all works fine now.

You don’t need to join the PR channel. You can still use the dism command to update KB cumulative updates. But remember! Offline updates will not activate the some "Gradual rollout" CFR control feature.

You can exit the PR channel and then you are on the general channel.

No Cumulative preview for today for 24H2 i guess, at least not seeing nothing yet, do see the Release Preview version came out yesterday.

But nothing so far on Stable channel despite 23H2 got a Cumulative preview update, and Windows 10 Machines

Guess i'll check more later on i suppose

Hello,
I asked you earlier, where do you find the description/explanation of what feature or fix a CFR key is controlling?

This requires using a VM to test each CFR keys change yourself. When you press the Check for Updates button in Windows Update it will usually synchronize the CFR registry in the system. You can disable/enable each CFR and observe the changes in the system. This may take a lot of time.

I thought you had access to some list with the description of the CFR key.
What is this GAC channel you mentioned earlier? 😎

"I can also get early access to unreleased features on the GAC channel."

Anyone else experiencing constant Task Manager crashes with this build? At least twice a day, sometimes three.

DISM and SFC are clean.

"I can also get early access to unreleased features on the GAC channel."

Microsoft uses Dev, Beta..etc and other channels for A/B experimental feature testing and development. This experimental code may also be included in consumer builds 26100.x, These features under development use CFR control to determine which channels should be activated.

Like "Task Manager calculates CPU utilization" feature, This feature code was introduced in the previous build 26100.3321. I have activated this feature.
