Incidentally, I still use 6 different utilities for annotating/manipulation, but, ShareX is still the most comprehensive and fastest! (y)

95% of screen captures I take end up here on the forum, then I delete them..., so, they land on my Desktop, each as a singular item, drag in here, then delete.

yeah I don’t keep them. And I find that the most recent isn’t at the top or bottom. I probably have to edit the naming settings? or make that folder list by date.

Something odd, Edwin. or at least something I don't understand.

I don't understand the differences between these or what the point of having two is.

And, I cant edit anywhere above where the crosshair is in the first image below.
If I try it turns back into the mouse pointer and wont do anything.
Where the crosshair is, is the highest I can go to add an arrow for instance.
I can move the arrow and manipulate it after creating it, but that's all. All icons are the same.

I am starting to think my PC hates ShareX. But I kind of like it.

I must say, Screenpresso, Snagit and FastStone have the most refined, configurable annotation tools...,
but, ShareX, Greenshot and, (perhaps Paint), are the quickest.

I wish ShareX would get some more refined, professional looking markup tools!

For a robust screen capture utility, it is lacking in that department.

It is one of the finest! (y)
Two things though:
- I can't take a screenshot and simply have it land on the Desktop,
- I can make the Desktop the Destination but then it has to create a hidden working folder there on each instance...

ShareX is simple, fast and sufficient, (Free)
Screenpresso has the most professional looking elements and is highly configurable, (Free/Paid)
FastStone is highly configurable and is probably the most powerful, {with the possible exception of Snagit}, (Free Trial/Paid)
