Solved slow computer boot up

Yes one should be OK, make that two to make you feel better. 8 is certainly too much and a waste of time. As I already said, if there is any issue it will be detected from the first circle. A false negative is very rare, never seen one, unless the RAM is about to fail, it passes the first circle but fails eventually. This is very very rare.

Test RAM and disk to find out if it is a hardware issue. If both pass, then it is most likely a software issue. Meanwhile, have you blown dust externally using an air spray or blower? Overheating can cause issues. If you did, check temperatures with a utility such as Speccy or Aida64. Post a screenshot so we can judge if they are high enough to cause trouble. If they are, you may also need to replace the dry thermal paste between the CPU and the heatsink with fresh. Ask for professional service, don't open the case yourself.

Then we must check for software issues. Disable most startup applications (right-click on taskbar, select Task Manager and then go to the Startup section). Restart your computer. If the issues persist, use a utility such as Superantispyware to check for malware. Do a full system scan and remove all results found. If it finds too many, over 500, then restart the computer and use a second utility such as Malwarebytes Antimalware and do a full system scan to find anything not detected by the first. Remove all results. Then report back here for more help.

PS: I have seen malware detecting the scanner and killing the process (close the application). In that case you must do the full system scan in Safe Mode. Hold the SHIFT key and restart the computer. Keep holding it until you see a screen saying to Troubleshoot and other options. Select Troubleshoot and then select Advanced Startup Options. Computer will restart and present you a list of startup options. Select Safe Mode. If you need internet access to update the malware database, select Safe Mode with network instead.

hey, ive done disks check before and ill get to the ram test when i do have the time for it. yes i have blown dusted it and the airlfow has helped GREATLY! undervolted it as well, temperatures have gone down immensely after blow dustinng, undervolting, and editing the power plan. now my cpu reaches ~ 50-60 when i play val and the gpu doesnt pass 50, compared to the 70-80 on my cpu earlier.

i use malware bytes for my antivirus im pretty sure that works well no? i heard it can be used as a first hand antivirus now, and i do have the premium version for 14 days.

i will do a ram test if the crashes still persist, and ill update back here.

thank you so much zbooks and spapakons for all your help, it means alot !

If it crashes only to that specific game, the installation might be corrupt. Try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. Also it might be a known issue for that game. See if there is any patch or update for the game at manufacturer's site. If there is a graphics issue newer graphics drivers often contain fixes for games. Update your graphics drivers if anything newer is available. In issue persist, check your RAM. Also check for malware, see our earlier posts.

You have the 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13950HX. Guys, isn't this one that's involved in all the mess between the manufacturers and Intel about overheating so the manufacturers are having to release new UEFI bios updates? I have not read the entire thread but thought I'd mention it if someone else hasn't. One of many articles out there, Intel offers new guidance on 13th and 14th Gen CPU instability — but no definitive fix yet
i think ive been told to update it before, but the bios seemed to line up, still unsure tho. and i really think this might be a ram problem or something, because now even despite the lower temps ive been seeming to crash

I would upgrade BIOS with a Beta version (if available) if there is no newer standard version. I have done it on older systems and improved compatibility. Also have you uninstalled the game and reinstalled? This will fix a corrupt installation.

If you have created either a USB flash drive from Memtest for Windows tool containing Memtest only or a USB flash drive with rufus from Strelec's ISO, then switch off your computer and connect the USB. Switch on again and quickly press F12 (confirm with MSI motherboard User Guide) before Windows load to stop the default boot sequence and see a list of devices. Find your USB by its name (such as Kingston... or Sandisk... or whatever). Use the arrow keys to hightlight the device and press ENTER to start from there.
