Solved Struggling with Windows 11 Upgrade

Using windows version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5198). Trying to upgrade to Windows 11. Completed 2 upgrades on machines with same Motherboard. First one went flawless. Second one had a few issues. I have tried to upgrade this machine at least 15 times and it fails in the same spot each time.

If they have the same motherboard, maybe you should make a backup of the one that succeeded and restore that backup to the one that failed.
This will also show if the problem is software or hardware.

If you want to get seriously into it... on the system that succeeded, go into the BIOS and save the BIOS settings to a "profile".
Then you can, (using a USB stick), load the BIOS profile from the system that succeeded to the one that didn't.

That will take care of any differences in the BIOS settings, between the two boards.

Make a fresh backup of Win 10 on the system that's failing the upgrade, just in case you need it for some reason.

I will start the tests above BUT, I jumped the gun and tried to update to W11 again. It failed and the error was "Bad_Pool_Caller". 0xC1900101-0x40017. It stated that "The Installation failed in the Second_Boot phase with an error during boot operation.

Here is the V2 Log.

I'll set up the tests now.

Enabled WDV as requested. Restarted PC and it would not start. The following pic is what was on the screen:

Tried to enter the "F1 Recovery Environment" but it the PC would freeze during reboot. Entered the F8 Startup settings. Selected F5 Safe mode with Networking. Brought me to a login screen but it would not recognize my password. Selected safe mode with a command prompt and disabled WDV, Restart was successful.

Here is the V2 log

Question, the instructions for running WDV say to click on the "Provider" tab to and select the drivers above "Microsoft Corporation".

I just noticed that when I do this there are some drivers that are alphabetically after Microsoft. Should I be including any of these drivers?

Running WDV with only the "Code Integrity Checks" gave the exact same result as running all of the tests except "Randomized low resources simulation". Same screen seen below.
