Solved BSOD: How does one run the V2 Log Collector on the BSOD PC?

That's fantastic!

Somehow it booted normally!

And installing a new iastorvd.sys driver was successful!

Please perform the following steps:

1) Run Tuneup plus > post a share link

2) Run disk partition information > post a share link

3) Create a new restore point:

4) For the Asus BIOS please ask in the Asus forum or open a new thread in EF to find someone that is familiar with Asus BIOS updates

5) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled yes
reagentc /info
reagentc /enable
reagentc /info

6) Make new Acronis and / or Macrium backup images > save to another drive or the cloud

7) Perform Windows updates

8) Post a new V2 share link into the newest post

9) Monitor computer stability / instability using reliability monitor:

Yes. Got one for the bad one. Then got more new. So all are new.

1) Download and install:

Drive C, one one with the Windows system on it.
Drive D, one with all the documents including Dropbox.
Drive E, an old drive that I have some old documents on it. Yeah, it is getting old.
Drive F, a SSD I had left over from a notebook. I have the Thunderbird Email files on this one.
2) Open device manager > manually expand all rows > look for any row displaying a yellow triangle with black exclamation mark or unknown device > post images or share links
Nothing is flagged

Download crashed every time I tried to open it.
4) Open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

Still need to do.
Code:
ACPI wake alarm -PNP0000 ACPI\PNP0000\4&857BE3E&0 52
Saw that this was in the V2 files. Not sure what to do.

1) In device manager expand system devices > identify the yellow triangle hovering over ACPI wake alarm -PNP0000 > uninstall > reinstall

2) Create a new restore point

3) If there are no essential Logitech keyboard or mouse then:

pnputil /delete-driver oem26.inf /uninstall /force
pnputil /delete-driver oem12.inf /uninstall /force

Reboot

For JMicron:

pnputil /delete-driver oem114.inf /uninstall /force

Actually I do have Logitech keyboard and mouse. However, I had these HID-Compliant devices and there was a recent driver update.

I took a chance and exercised all the deletes above. Lo and behold, look at Windows Security Incompatible drivers:

Mouse and keyboard work fine.

1) In device manager expand system devices > identify the yellow triangle hovering over ACPI wake alarm -PNP0000 > uninstall > reinstall
It was not clear to me about the reinstall. I uninstalled. On reboot, it came back with yellow triangle. I uninstalled again and checked box to remove the driver from the computer. On reboot, it is no longer there. I looked around for how important this is. I could not find anything. This system does not have a battery. Nevertheless, the system runs finds and reboots fine.

Here is a side-by-comparison of everything open in the Device Manager. In the Before view, I did not have the camera in the system. That is why is shows up in the After view: deviceManagerBeforeAfter.jpg

I have Firefox as default. I set Edge as default and same thing. I also copied the link into Chrome. Same thing.

There were 3 new logi entries seen in device manager.

There were no yellow triangles or unknown devices.

Check to see if memory integrity and secure boot can be enabled.

There are many google results reporting Crucial scan problems.

Crucial has a manual option:

Crucial has a manual option:
Followed this. Basically I had to indicate my Asus motherboard. This then gave the Crucial products that are compatible. I do not at this time see the usefulness of this. I will replace the Crucial SSD drive that I keep my Thunderbird files on.

Check to see if memory integrity and secure boot can be enabled.

Secure Boot is on. However, Memory Integrity, reached by clicking on Core isolation, remains on temporarily as shown in this short clip: memoryIntegrety.mp4

The NVME M.2 SSD is below the memory modules, tucked in behind the GPU. I was wondering if it could be pulled out but attached via an extension cable and somehow placed in an empty hard drive bay in the case. I could only find a SATA holder, not an NVME one.
