F10 has been the Save & Exit key on every ASUS board since the dawn of time.

You can also go to the EXIT tab and choose Save & Exit

Go back into Windows and use the file RENAMER to rename the file, then put the renamed file on the USB stick and do it again.


Here... yours looks like this before renaming... PRIME-B760M-A-AX-ASUS-1812.CAP
...and like this, after renaming: PB760MAX.CAP


Here's the download link for the latest BIOS for your motherboard...


Re-download the file, then...

1. Extract the file to your desktop.
2. Double click the renamer.exe file, and wait a few seconds.
3. Then your BIOS file should be named this: PB760MAX.CAP
4. Make sure the USB stick is formatted FAT32
5. Put THAT file on your USB stick and get-er-done. :cool:

IF Bitlocker was already OFF, then you shouldn't need to worry about the Bitlocker key.
The newly named BIOS file should be on the 29311 MB (size in the BIOS), USB stick,
which should have been formatted as FAT32.

If motherboard companies were nice... the BIOS would be set up to scan all attached drives, find the BIOS file and just flash the damn BIOS, without needing any help from the User. :-)

To post a screenshot on this forum...​

1. Take the screenshot, (or camera pic), edit it as desired, save to your desktop as .png or .jpg (max. size = 2MB)
2. Left click in your post, where you want to place the screenshot.
3. Click the Attach Files button at lower left, browse to your image and select it.
4. Then click Insert, I usually choose the Thumbnail (smaller) option, or there is a Full Image (larger) option.

Make sure the USB stick is formatted... FAT32... then put that file on the USB stick (drag and drop).

Then just go into the BIOS and do it. :-)
